Look at the initial sentence. Then complete the following sentence so that it means exactly the same thing, but uses the word accused. You need to add 2-5 words into the gap, but one of them must be the word accused.

'You've broken my iPod, Steven!' said Julie.

- accused -

Sealed  Julie .......................................... her iPod.

Good luck with finding the answer!

accused to Steven about broken

Good tries gentlemen, but...

It should be: Julie accused Steven of breaking her iPod.

With the verb "accuse", we need to use "of" and an '-ing' form with the following verb/action.

Other examples:

Rodney accused Christine of drinking his Pepsi.

What are you accusing me of doing?

Thanks for trying, in any case...

The answer would be "Julie accused steven of having broken her iPod."
Why I used the present perfect is that the accident that iPod was broken was more previously happened than her accusing, so that I used it though.

Hi Sunghan,

Yes, that answer is also a possible fit, and a much more advanced option. Your rationale for the tense is also quite justified and makes perfect sense (and is still within the 2-5 word limit to complete the gap in the sentence).

Nicely done!
