Directions:

In this part of the test, you will write ONE sentence that is based on a picture. With each picture, you will be given TWO words or phrases that you must use in your sentence. You can change the forms of the words and you can use the words in any order.

Your sentence will be scored on:

- the appropriate use of grammar, and
- the relevance of the sentence to the picture.

Question 2:

people   /   about

Try writing your sentence for this picture by replying below. Make sure it is a single sentence and uses both words/phrases ("people" and "about").

Cool  ~ Jason

This sentence is fine, Dongwan. You could even show your knowledge of adjective clause reduction by removing "who are":

There are four people talking about something in front of a building.

That sentence would also be an appropriate answer.

Well done,

~ Jason

Yeah, I just forgot it, sorry~
I will use talk, instead of discuss.
So the sentence will be " Several people standing by the building are talking about something."
Cheers~

Two of those people are about to leave.

Good sentence, though I'm not entirely sure we can make the assumption from the picture. In that case, it's good to use a phrase like "It appears that" to show possibility rather than certainty.

I also think it's better to use "these" rather than "those", to focus on the people in "this" scene.

So perhaps an improved version of this sentence could be:

It appears that two of these people are about to leave.

I like your use of "about to" ~ that shows advanced grammar.

Best,

~ Jason
