Bomb destroys Islamabad Marriott

Sept. 20 - At least 40 are killed in a suspected suicide bomb attack on the luxury Marriott Hotel in the centre of Pakistan's capital.

The attack came several hours after Pakistan's new president vowed not to let terrorists or foreign powers fighting them breach national sovereignty.
