Sep 15 - Wall Street was turned on its head after the bankruptcy filing of Lehman Brothers spread fear far and wide.

- The Dow tumbled 504 points, to close at 10,917.
- The S&P500 sank 59 points, to finish at 1,192.
- The Nasdaq tumbled 81 points to close at 2,179.
- Crude oil settled at $95.71
