Opinion Essay : More powerful countries should have more right to use military force to influence world events.

Quarrel is one of the origin natures of human. And many wars were occurred through long history of human. Although human call themselves as ‘Homo Sapiens Sapiens’, the wise creature and they become more and more wiser, they are still quite cruel creature. Still, each year, many wars are occurred through whole world. Then why those wars are occurred? In my opinion, in most case, war is occurred when one country is weaker than another country. Because they want to take something from weaker country and that weaker country doesn’t have a power to protect what they have. So now, we have an answer to prevent the war. There must be a power to restrain that horrible war.

Do you think the ‘Iraq war’ of 2003 is a war? No. It was just an attack of US to Iraq. The ‘Georgia war’ of 2008 was the same case. Both of the cases, there is a quite strong country. And the country that is attacked by stronger country is much weaker. They don’t have a power to protect themselves. Surely, there was an organization that has a power to use their force to restrain the war. Such as UN army to maintain the peace. The problem was, UN’s most powerful country was that which out broke the war. As a result, UN didn’t send its army to the place where war was broken. So what I mean is that there is no exact meaning of force to restrain the war these days. And this can be the greatest reason of war.

But intervene in a dispute by a certain country must be prevented. As you no war is quite expensive task. It also risks many things. Such as opposition of the people, have a bad name by other nations. Then why the wars are occurred. Needless to say, there is a thing that can be gained through the war. In other words, the country which intervene the war can make the war bigger and worse. For example, British intervened the ‘Iraq war’. Its government said they just want to eradicate the terrorist force and protect the world’s peace. But how was the result. More armies were committed to the war and more people were die. Not only armed persons, but also people that have no connection with the war were killed by the war.

In conclusion, there must be a force to prevent the war. But that must not be belonged to certain nation. UN is not enough. It is too old and doesn’t have enough power to influence the war. And UN can be controlled by powerful nations when using its power. So I think make a new organization that is not controlled by any nations. It will be composed by the armies that are sent from nations all over the world. This characteristic as united army will give fairness to that organization to intervene the war.

Yeah!! As you mentioned in your essay, it was not a 'war', it was USA's affection. Bushi can not be forgiven with excuse that he wanted to protect the word. However, think about Korean war... Can you imagine that Korea couldn't get any help from USA force? I think, this is the dillema.

We have to prevent war as you said, and it is necessary to exist the organization you uttered. All the people across the world have to put together. But, if some nation had power overwhelming others, it would use its power in a way profitable to itself, though it had been a nation who had advocated peace.
