The articles you see here in the online English Education Gazette are written by student teachers of English. They are coordinated and guided by select hard-working fellow teachers-in-training known as "managing editors."

Managing editors! Please introduce yourselves and place your introductory remarks about your teams' efforts in this thread. Thanks for all your hard work!

Hello, my name is Dasom Jo, a freshman majoring in English education.

For most of us, including myself, it was the first time producing a magazine. The experience of making a magazine was interesting, but nonetheless tough. There were trials and errors in the course of doing the project. For an inexperienced editor like me, putting final touch on the draft was not easy. Nevertheless, we helped each other out and managed to produce the final draft. The theme of this magazine is ‘English Education’ which is relevant to what we have been writing about and learning in the class throughout the semester. This magazine includes a variety of interesting materials, from International Education News to Interviews with teachers and learners. Every member had something to contribute and indeed did put considerable effort into this magazine. After putting together all the works done by group members, it was worthwhile to see the final version of the magazine.

Most of all I'd like to say hello to all the readers of English Education Gazette. My name is Hyunjin Yoon and I'm an editor of this project.

Frankly to say that at first, when I was selected as an editor, the burden for this position was quite stressful for me. I'm not good at English as much as other editors and I didn't have much courage to lead our team as a leader. By leading my group, however, I could learn how to guide and cooperate with other people and what leadership is. Moreover, I could overcome a sense of inferiority in English. Before I do this project, I always tried to avoid difficult and hard materials because I have no brave to do that. Since I’ve been doing project as an editor, I got a chance learn numerous things and even it was good opportunity to show my ability although the accomplishments might not be perfect. In conclusion, it is needless to say that I extremely appreciate to our group members who follow my words actively and positively. While I editing the projects and leading our group, I could learn what leadership is and improve my English skill too. I hope there could be more chances that are similar as this project. Thanks for reading my introduction and I wish all of the readers can enjoy our group’s English Education Gazette.

Finally! 2 weeks ago, our team started making the magazine and after finishing all the works, right now I am writing the introduction of the magazine as a recollection of my memory. This magazine contains a lot of contents inside, which means that many people have put their efforts to create it. For example, while making the magazine, our team helped each other to make this magazine perfect. We gave feedbacks on each others’ work, and we even asked professor Renshaw regarding the magazine. He helped us with sincerity, and he actually showed us the break through. Also, I really appreciate my team members. They have followed me without a single complaint, even though most of them were older than me. They have always tried their best to be perfect, and they have also listened to my words carefully. Overall, I really appreciate all the works of my teammates, and I'm very thankful for trusting me.

Hi, my name is Youngah Heo taking charge of team A in afternoon English writing class.

When I got to charge of editing all of the articles, I didn’t think it would be a difficult job compared to others’ at first. But after all of the members in my team submitted their essays or something, I feel it isn’t easy work at all. I realized that making the flow of original essay smoother and changing some sentences polished require great concentration and effort. However, editing work was really helpful to develop my writing skill. While reading all the contributions carefully, I could learn from others creative sentence patterns and new vocabulary. Lastly, I want to express my appreciation for my team members who were very hardworking during this project. Despite my lack of capability as a leader, they followed me well and cooperated with each other. This Gazette project was a little bit hard work, but it would be a meaningful experience for me.
