Hi Everybody,
Please give me some ideas on this topic.
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Televisions, newspapers, magazines and other media pay too much attention to the personal lives of famous people such as public figures and celebrities. Use specific reasons and details to explain your opinion?
Thank You.
Hi Swetha,
I hope this can help you a bit.
Every human being has got the right to the personal privacy, even if you are calebrity. Being a celebrity I bet is very nice and wonderfull world to live in, but there is always someone who is prapared to wreck this world. In my opinion media is paying to much attentions to whats been happening into a celebrities private lives. For this I have sveral reasons.
Firstly the media is taking to far to get some information about celebrities lives. They are ready to tresspas their house hold teritories without any problems. Further more theiy are more interested in the information and pictures they could get than in the fellings of those celebrities. More over they do not take in account that they are wrecking someones life. Let's take an example of the famous actress who has found out a secret of her husband from a TV show. She has never forgot her husband and divorced. And this is a result of the media interference in someone 's life.
Secondly there are some celebrieties that allows media to write everything what is happening in their private life. For instance let's take Jade Goody a TV celebrity in UK which has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She went public with her story and she allowed the media into her private life up to her death. But her last request was to leave her fammily alone after her death. Although she has died the media still continues to pay attention now to her fammily at this hard momment.
To conclude I would say that although media brings important information to our knowledge, they should take in account what harm does it when they get the information to other people they are writing of.
