I am a RN and I have already taken the toefl ibt test 3 times, the last 2 I got a 24 on the speaking part but I need a 26 to get my license. I am running out of time because I sent the application to the Board of Nursing  in November and I also applied for the NCLEX (nursing exam in December, I didn't think I would take so long to pass the English proficiency exam and honestly the Board of Nursing website doesn't give you a lot of information.
Anyway, my situation is that  I need this in the next 2 months if I don't want to lose money and time doing more paperwork.
I have 2 choices: 1. Try to pass toefl, that I already am familiar with. First I would practice with Jason's tutorials until I pass it with him.
2. Take the Toeic. I have read that it is easier and more fair than toefl, and what I found out about it really sounds more possible to pass.  The problem is that  I would have to start all over again to prepare for a new exam. I really wouldn't mind if get the score that I need.
Does anybody have any experience with toeic?
Do you know if it is really easier and fair?
Please, any information will be very welcome. Thanks a lot.

Hi Violeta,

I'm Nena. I'm preparing for IELTS for new prospection. I've passed NCLEX California Board of Nursing and English with passing score. Unfortunately, US CIS denied my I - 140 for immigration worker. I'd like to brush up my English for new future' s sake.

If you are inerested in IELTS, we may talk in this issue,

Hi,Jason and all of my friends, I am sharu I have also same problem as you guys have. I am aslo RN from nepal. I have already applied for NCLEX in Colorado board of nursing. Board asked me TOEFL and I need 26 on speaking. I can not attend the NCLEX exam before the toefl score. Firstly I need TOEFL score then only I can attend RN exam in colorado. Please give me any suggestion and link to improve my TOEFL score. I am really happy practicing this website and it is really useful for us. Do you have any idea how to get the 26 on speaking? and you guys got that? I will glad to see your reply.
Thanku so much
