Imagine you are a student. You have been studying hard in your studies and you feel that you learn a lot from school and teachers. After a year with full of studies, you need to work in a related company to gain work experience or finish your constraint of internships to graduate. You may think that you are not well-developed to work or you need to have some break and go on a vacation. However, personally, I agree with the assertion that a university education should involve an internship or some type of work experience.
To begin with, I believe that work experience is very important for after graduation. In this time, after a person graduated from his school, he starts to search jobs. While the experience of the candidate can be unimportant for some companies, I think for a majority of companies search for candidates with significant work experience. It is a fact that many companies searchs for candidates at least with two years of work experience and it can be clearly seen by a quick search. According to my own experience, my brother, who completed the degree on Mechanical Engineering in Bogazici University, could not find a job in the first 8 monthes after his graduation because of his lack of experience, despite his university is known as the best university in whole country. All companies he applied rejected him due to his lack of work experience. Therefore, he always advices me to join the internship programs of the companies during my studies.
In addition to experience, I feel that internships will help students to practice what they have learnt from schools. In schools, system is generally based upon to rear the future lecturer or scientists. Hence, the lectures in universities mostly consists theoretical informations. However, in outer world, where there is a merciless and competitive race between companies, these theoretical informations don't suit what the companies ask. It is true that for some companies, this is not much priority, as they don't work on a competitive area. However, for those that do, they need workers with high practical specialities and internships let students to practice their skills on a roof that has a vast amount of theoretical informations. From my own experience, I study to be a computer engineer and programming is one of the most important features of this program. In my school, I learnt C++ programming language, but before I made my internship about that language, I was unaware that I had known it just as a theoretical information like Chemistry or Physics. Moreover, in my internship I practice it a lot by implementing programs with that language and I feel like I have became an expert about it.My consideration of the issue of involving internships or some work experience in university programs should be provided or not, I have explored the issues such as the significance of work experience and practicing the theoretical knowledge. These factors may not be persuasive to all people, but they have lead me personally to accord with the blanket statement that internships or some type of work experience should be included in a university's schedule.

Excellent! Even though you have only presented two key arguments in support of your position, you have done so in outstanding detail and very convincing fashion. You've also shown a great sense of balance with your 'concession' statements built into the main paragraphs. The language use was generally highly accurate and included some advanced vocabulary and grammatical constructions. Well done!
(Just don't leave so many blank lines between your paragraphs - one clear line break will do!)
:D
Personally, I agree with the statement that universities include some sorts of internships for their students.
To begin with, internships help students to learn more effectively the materials that is relevant to their study field. The students will apply their theoritical undrestanding in their field of study when they are doing the internship. While some people may think that these kind of works need some time and keep the students from studying of theoritical studies, but in my perspective, it helps them to have a good undrestanding of the theories that they are learing. For instance, when I was studying pharmacy, we had some mandatory internship hours. This program helped me a lot. When I involved in this program I was able to experience the real job. There were lots of consideration that I could learn them in a pharmacy not in in the classroom.
In addition to that, the challenges during an internship provide an opportunity for the student to learn some experiences for real life. In my perspective, society environment is something different from the colleges. Universities usually have a friendly academic atmosphere and the challenges are very limited, but a real society has lots of conflicts. Its true that some people may believe that its better not to expose young people to the challenges in the society in order to keep them from the stress and give them plenty of time to focus on their study, but I think its better to allow them to touch the throughts. From my own experience, my pharmcy training during school made me a large amount of experties in my social life. I learnd how to communicate with others as well as how to keep my personal position.
Finally, a work experience provides connections for future job. If someone goes directly to the community from the school and has no work experiences and connections, he will encounter a lot of problems to get a job. Employers usually hier the people who they already know or somebody from another company introdused them. For example, a few days a go I was listening to a radio show about job hunting and the man who was running the talk show was advising a listener about finding a new job. His first advice was that find a connection, a person who can introduce you to an employer.
To sum up, schools sould have some internships for their students. This benefits the graduates in several points; to relate their theoritical studies to real work; to get some experiences for social life; and to make connection for future job. These are the reasons that I think a work experience should be included to all majors at the universities.

Personally, I agree with the idea of university should include some sort of internship or working experiences for their students.
To begin with, students can get a practical experience from this. With some internship, students have to take a real job in a real company. So, students will work in the practical situation and environment of working. That can help students understand about how to prepare and adapt themselves for their real job in the future. According to my own experience, my university has an internship course, which every senior student have to take it for graduate. With this course, I am sent to work at a company that develops Web application for customers. I think it is a good experience for me because, from this company, I have a chance to know about real environment of working that every people have to do everything to finish every project on time. Moreover, I learn about how they communicate to each other to solve the problems and debate for selecting a good solution for customer. This is a valuable experience for me, since, I still use some strategy from this company to solve my problem when I take my job.In addition, I think it can provide an opportunity for students to get a job after graduation. While, some students need to take a break after graduation, I think that for a majority of students, they want to get some job. When students go to work for internship, they have a chance to make connection with employee and manager in that company. This connection will help them to get a job after they are graduated from the university, especially, if the students really good enough and show their talents during they work in the company. Consider, for example, my friend can show his programming skill during he take an internship course at a company. After the end of internship course, his manager in that company told that he reserve programmer position for my friend and he can take this position immediately after graduation. From this example, I feel that internship provide a good chance for students who have skill and talent to get a job.
Finally, I feel that internship can help students get a better job and better salary. Experience is one of the most important qualities that will be used by company to consider each competitor. So, it is very difficult for new graduated people to fight with a lot of experience competitor. However, internship can help these people because internship provides short-time experience for students. That means these students can have a chance to get a better job and better salary than people who have never taken internship course from their university. From my own experience, I take an internship course for six months. After graduation, I have to compete for take a good job and good salary with another person who has one year experience in the real job. However, I can beat him and take that job because the interviewer told me that I have six months experience and he like my experiences more than the other one. From my experience, I think that internship really help me have a chance to get my dream job.
In considering university should include internship or some sort of working experiences for students or not, I have explored issues such as students can get real-job experiences; students can have a good chance to get a job after graduation; and increasing possibility that students will get a better job and better salary. These factors lead me to believe that university should provide some internship class or working experiences for students.

:D
Image you have studied for six years and are now 28 years old. Is it really helpful if you have never worked something? Well, for some people this might be no problem, but for me it is all but an ideal situation. Personally, I agree with the idea that a university education always should include some type of work experience. To begin with, I claim that with work experience, you feel already during your studies if you are at the right place. Considering my own experience as a law student, I can tell that it helped me a lot to work some weeks during the summer for a law firm to get some insights. I could see how lawyer really work, what they do the whole day long and if they are happy doing it. I could accompany them to the court rooms or to meetings with clients. Still, as some students might be sure about their personal situation already from the beginning on, this argument is probably not true for all. However, generally I belief that work experience helps the majority to get a better understanding if they have chosen the right subject to study.
In addition to the issue of better knowledge about the personal situation, I think that it will be much easier for a student to get a job after finishing their studies. According to my own experience, I could tell in job interviews that I already have some experience. While there are maybe some employers that do not consider work experience as a condition for hiring, I think that for most of them it is quite important. If a student already knows something about how a certain company works, then the company needs less time to introduce this person to its job and will be more willing to hire.
Finally, in combination with the certainty of being at the right place and the better possibilities to get a job, I feel that some kind of practical experience is a good variation of the theoretical part of every education. Most of the studies is just sitting behind books and in libraries. Students read a lot and write a lot. But it is always on a theoretical level. So if student can get some practice, it is a good variation. Of course, it does not bother all students to be sitting behind books and work just theoretically. However, I assert that for most of the people in an education, some variation is needed and wanted. From my own experience I can tell that I was always much more motivated after having done some practical things and after having been able to put learnt things into practice.
In considering the advantages of practical experience during studies, I have explored issues such as better understanding if one studies the right thing; advantages in getting jobs; and more variation during studies. These arguments may not be persuasive for all students but personally, they lead me to the conclusion that having whatever kind of work experience already during university education is in every case an advantage.

Imagine you are an employer, what type of employee
do you want? Do you need students who have highest grade from examination or
the one who have attitude “can do.” Learning theories from is a must, however, this
process of learning does not guarantee whether they will be select into good
company or not. I personally believe that, to have training or internship
within the university is the greatest benefit for students’ career in the
future.
To begin with, labor market is not looking only high
qualified graduated students from universities but also appropriate experience related
to study field. Experience is a good reference and valuable information in CV.
If any students used to work before applying job, they will likely be accepted
more than inexperienced one. My brother, for example, graduated in the field of
Management and Marketing last year with overall grade A+, applying for a
position manager at company ABC. There was one candidate, who graduated from
the same University; he was selected into that company despite having lower
grade than my brother. This man had experience in working with one Logistic
company and when he applied for the same position, the owner of company did not
hesitate to choose him.
In addition to the need of labor market, internship
at the university is the good preparation stage them for real situation work
working. Although some people may want to take a break after studying, but I
think that, internship will let us face with good practices and learn how to
deal with pressure. Last year, I had selected as volunteer researcher
chemistry. Only good students were selected. After working with many professors,
I found that t being a good chemist and to implementing experiments in a laboratory
room are different task. While working, I have to deal with my pressure, and emotion
needs to be controlled during working with others. Someone may be angry or not
nice to me but I have to be positive and keep forward my work schedule always. Reading
books has no conflict, while working with other people is another story.
Finally, alongside with need of employers and
practical lessons from working, internship forces students to work well within
the team. I learnt this lesson by myself when I start my work at the first day.
Studying is a gift but working in internship programme is like winning lottery.
I have a chance to use my theories lessons which have learnt from university.
At the same time, I have an opportunity to understand the need of myself, team
members, and the head of my group. I learnt how to be more responsible in my
duty for archiving the goal of my group.
Considering internship at university, I explored the
need of labor market, preparation for real work and understanding the group
objective. This lead me to believe that work opportunity in campus is advantages
for students. They gain experience during their studying, it is the good
preparation step for students before applying job.
Attachment: A university education should always include an internship or some type of work experience.doc (24.0KB)
Personally, I agree that there must be an internship or a similar work experience included in the university education process.
First of all, I think that internships are very useful for students to earn some really valuable work experience. Internship experiences will give an idea to students about what a working ambience is like or communication between colleagues. When the student finally graduates and find a job, it will be much easier to fit in to the workplace. This will make the transition between the school and work much smoother. Additionally, internships will give a chance to see all the theoretical information taught at college applicable in real world. As an example from my own experience, all the formulas, equations were just writings on paper until I did my internship at a gsm provider and saw them applicable in real world.
In addition, I feel that internships are very important opportunities to establish very important contacts. Finding a job may be very challenging especially today in this economic recession. Knowing some effective people in the job market can make it easier to get an interview opportunity or event the job itself. Consider, for example, there are two candidates with equal qualifications for a position. If one of them is using a very effective or well-known person as a reference, it will get that person one step ahead. Internships can be very useful to get to meet these people and exchanging contact information.
Finally, I think that internships can be a good chance to make some money. There are numbers of companies that provide paid internship or part-time work for students. Being a student can be very expensive especially when it occurs in a different country or city in which family lives. Of course, in some cases, money is not the issue for some families, but I think for a majority of students, this will lead that some extra money to be extremely useful.
To sum up, these factors made me believe that even a internship of a very short time is an indispensable process for a student’s education.

Many universities have incorporated internship into
their education program, while many are still conducting their program the
traditional way. Also, some majors, like Nursing or Medical majors as an
example, require their students to have some sort of internship before they can
jump into the ‘real jungle’. However, there are many other majors who do not
provide this opportunity. Personally, I completely agree that a university
education should always include an internship or some type of work experience,
as this will benefit students tremendously.
First of all, it will give students some ideas on
what is expected of them in real working environment. In short, ‘prepare for
the worst’. Many students these days attended college for the money. If they
hear that computer engineer job pays a lot of money, a flock of students will
apply to that major. If they hear that nursing job offers many benefit, you can
see many students are waiting in line to be accepted into the major. I somehow doubt that they know the pressure and
the demand of those jobs. Both jobs require long hours and strong analytical
skills. I have seen enough friends
complained about their job, how difficult it is to update their skills to adapt
to the technology, how they wished they did not choose their profession because
of the money. If we are aware of the expectation of the job, we can use these
factors as a consideration when we choose our major.
In addition to that, the work experience will help
new graduate to be more competitive when they are looking for a job. These days
many employers prefer to hire experienced employees rather than hire new
graduate students. They cannot afford to spend a few months for the new hires
to adapt to the work environment. As you
are aware, everyone has different pace in learning new skills. Some people are
able to learn new skills in a very short time; others need longer time to master
new skills. And, a small quantity of
people just could not adapt to their new job no matter how hard they try and no
matter how many hours they spend in the office. At this time of the year,
especially, when there are so many experienced people on the job market who are
willing to be paid the same amount of money as a new graduate. If you are an
employer, which one will you hire?
Last, but not least, in addition to the ‘taste’ of
the job and an ‘edge’ on the job market, an internship opportunity is very
positive because it makes students taking their education more seriously. A few days ago, as I sat in my classroom, my
professor was upset with some of my friends; I can practically see steams
coming out of her ears. When she tried to explain one difficult chemistry
reaction, some students were playing with their hair and some were actually
sleeping in class. She made a comment that people can get fired if they play
with their hair when the boss is talking. Also, I have heard my young friends saying
that they are happy enough to get a “C” as long as they pass the subject.
Imagine yourself lying down on the operation table and the person who will
perform the medical procedure is one of ‘the C is enough’ doctor. Will you be confident enough to put your life
on their hand?
In considering the importance of the internship
and/or job experience as part of the education, I have looked into the mental
readiness, competitiveness and education quality. While not all students are keen
on the extra burden of the responsibility, these factors lead me to agree that
an internship or some type of work experience would be very beneficial to
students. After all, who doesn’t want to get a high-paying job right away after we
graduate?
Education is the most important asset that a parent can give to their children. Choosing a certain career is not an easy task and even the school or university that we would like to attend is quite an important issue. Most importantly, after having chosen a career, it would be essential to consider also the internship and working experience seriously as part of education. Personally, I agree that a university education should always include internship or some type of work experience due to the following reasons, to broadened the expertise of a profession; additional knowledge and skills related to the theory and positive impression for applying a career in the future.
First of all, it needs a basic formal education to study a theory academically for 4-5 years in college and then it takes a great advantage to the student to have an internship because it widened the expertise of a certain career. For instance, when I was in college, I took my intership for one year after my 4 years academic education in Physical Therapy. I realized that my working experience as an intern in different hospitals made me understand fully my learning theories by applying those into actual practice. Thus, it resulted me to a motivation to understand my profession better and to widened my career through actual learning practice.
In addition, it gives more knowledge and skills while you have an actual practice of your career. Aside from the fact that a student learns the theories of his chosen career, it's paramount to acquire additional skills and knowlegde by gaining working experience. Through this related experience, one may gain positive results from his career. For instance, he is an engineer by profession and he needs one more year for internship to finish his studies, the student then is motivated to pursue his internship to add more knowledge and skills to his profession. Morever, I think it's very easy fot the student to retain the information provided in the theory if he relates it into actual practice.
Finally, I believe that through working experience, it leads to a positive journey to one's career. Nowadays, the world is full of competition and a lot of applicants are vying for a job in different company. By complying an interesting resume to apply for a certain position, it gives the employer a positive feedback and good impression. For example, you are applying for a certain position in a renown company, definitely your working experience will give a good impact and eventually you will be hired for a job if you have given your best in a certain interview. This gives an interesting topic to the interviewer if you have a lot of working experience during an actual interview. Thus, it will give one's confidence when looking for a job in the future and eventually, this will be a start of a career growth.
In considering the issue of having a practical experience for education in a university, I certainly agree with the idea that it gives a lot of advantages to apply it for studies because of the following points that I explore, to widened the expertise of the student in the chosen profession; to gain additional skills and learnings; and will create a positive experience in job hunting after graduation. These factors may not be influential to all students or teachers but personally, these lead me to believe that university education should require students to have an internship or working experience. After all, it's the credibility of your education that matters most.
Knowledge without putting it into practice is useless! This may sound imperfect to some of the students however, this is reality. Vast numbers of students might disagree with this, simply because they do not see the significance it may bring to their performances as professionals. But I firmly support the assertion of the universities to include internship program in every course. I found it to be very helpful for the students to learn better while still in school. Also, this will definitely shape their confidence to build a strong foundation in preparation for their future jobs. Not only that, their internship experiences will widen their understanding and patience towards their colleague's individual indifference.
As a starter, this internship program will help every student to learn better what had he studied theoretically. Theories need practical application so as to be well understood. It is indeed, difficult to grasp and analyze ideas by solely memorizing it. It has to be personally done to incur deeply the lesson from it. For example, I remember when I was still in the academic years of my studies in physical therapy, I find it very hard to understand the lectures. It even make me reread the lessons twice. Contrary to this, when I reached the internship year wherein I was able to put into practice the things that I have learned four years back, then it has become so quick and easy to understand everything. In consequence, I was able to appreciate more the profession that I have chosen.
In addition to that, self-confidence is a big factor to perform better. And how do the students acquire that? It is absolutely through the experiences they would gain during the internship period. Students will developed their self-confidence from doing actual tasks which are closely monitored by a professor. Say for example, when I was an intern, I was anxious to do a hands-on job since it was my first time. But when I get started I realized that I was already performing confidently and happily. Of course at first, I did some terrible mistakes but with the boundless patience and continued support of my professor, I was able to correct them hence perform better. As days go by and you become more focus and responsible, there lies a fruitful result. Soon after my graduation, I applied for a job and alas! I was hired right away mainly because of my self-confidence that automatically comes out of me. It shows in my physical appearance!
Lastly, internship program is powerful to make every student take responsibilities for each other. They learn their individual indifference positively. During this time of internship, dissimilar attitudes are being brought together. Nothing they can do but to understand and be compassionate to each one's behavior for the sake of unity. As a proof, I was once a loner and I really never wanted to have somebody with me because I feel uneasy. On the contrary, when our professor grouped us to do a certain task then I had no other choice but to follow. At first, I was so awkward to work with somebody. I never liked it! However, I learned to like them because they were nice to me. I learned how to be patient. In addition, I realized that "Two heads are better than one". It was a bit easy to do a task when you have a helping hand.
In Sum, students will benefit a lot from this internship program. This will make them learn and appreciate better the lectures that they had study about. Also, self-confidence is an important factor in every performance and not only that but it can help them get hired easily. Lastly, it will definitely make them patient, understanding and responsible individual.
Imagine you are a college student. You worked hard and finished the university. However, you have no work experience. Then you feel yourself useless when you apply for a job. Personally, I agree with the assertion that an internship or work experience should be a part of university education. This opinion is based on notions such that; practical knowledge; easiness for finding a job; and motivating effect on your lessons.
To start with, I believe that practical knowledge is as important as theoretical knowledge. Most of the universities don't include an internship and even they don't encourage students working part-time
jobs. They make the lessons very hard and students lose in them. While the system can be fine for some students who think only academical, I think for a majority of students, it has a huge faults. If practical knowledge does not bolster academic knowledge, everything may be abstract. This is a trouble situation for students. From my own experience, I am an economics student and my faculty does not provide an internship program. Hence, I couldn't remember what I learned in the lectures in the previous years because I have not any practice about my department. This frighten me so much because I feel my university time is useless.
In addition to practical considerations, I feel that an internship may facilitate to find a job. Many job applications consist of work experience. They look for new graduate students who know business world. This is a bit of shame, because most of universities overlook the fact. Only some programs provide an internship program and they are the best faculties in the country. Moreover, an internship helps you some important people. The connection between you and them help you a nice job.For example, my friend has found a good job during the internship although his grades are low.
Finally, in combination with the issues of practical knowledge and finding job easily, I think that an internship has positive effects on your lessons. If you are aware that there is a relationship between the lessons and job, you motivate more. It is an encouraging effect on your study performance. For instance, a friend of mine was willing to study more during university years because the internship program would bring him a lot of benefits and he realized that if he failed his lessons, he would not manage the internship program.
In considering the issue of work experience and university education, I have explored factors such that usefulness of your knowledge, successful chance to get job, and encouraging effect on lessons. These considerations lead me to believe that university education with an internship would be preferable to university education without an internship. It would be even better if such system spread to all country, as it would provide students a lot of convenience.

Imagine your self as a student who was graduated recently without having any work experience. do you think you will get job easly? do you thin that you are prepared to perform a work responsibilities? Do you believe that you have the necessary skills? I don't think so. Personally, I agree the assertion that university education should contain an internship or work experience.
First of all, the practical part of study is as important as the theoritical part. Without internship in universities, students will not be able to perform thir responsibilities well in their work if they dont practice while they are studying. it is true that some employers offer a training period for new employers, however, most of employers push new employees directly in the work force. from my personal experience as a pharmacist, the internship program help the student to be aware of drug market. I have a friend in another country in which there is no internship program for pharmacy students; he told me that the lack of work experience cause a big proplem for him, because he found trade names of medicine are different from the scientific names; this confused him a lot.
In addition, work experience during the period of study will help students to succeed in their future work, student will not learn in the internship only how to perform work, but he will learn also the skills that will bring him success such as communication skills, leadership, planning and customer service. These skills is the most important factor in success.for instance, the same friend that I told you about is tries now to study these skills in private courses which costs him a lot of money; becuse he realised late that these skills are important to achieve success..
finally, intership will create job oppurtunities for students. Usually the internship programs is performed by co-operation of universities and companies which usually offer students jobs after graduation, and thus help students to find jobs easly instead of wasting time looking for jobs for several months. for example, I worked for the same pharmacies chain that I copleed my internship in when I was a student.
To sum up, these factors lead me to believe that an internship should be a part of university education.
Many universities have incorporated internship into their education program, while many are still conducting their program the traditional way. Also, some majors, like Nursing or Medical majors as an example, require their students to have some sort of internship before they can jump into the ‘real jungle’. However, there are many other majors who do not provide this opportunity. Personally, I completely agree that a university education should always include an internship or some type of work experience, as this will benefit students tremendously.First of all, it will give students some ideas on what is expected of them in real working environment. In short, ‘prepare for the worst’. Many students these days attended college for the money. If they hear that computer engineer job pays a lot of money, a flock of students will apply to that major. If they hear that nursing job offers many benefit, you can see many students are waiting in line to be accepted into the major. I somehow doubt that they know the pressure and the demand of those jobs. Both jobs require long hours and strong analytical skills. I have seen enough friends complained about their job, how difficult it is to update their skills to adapt to the technology, how they wished they did not choose their profession because of the money. If we are aware of the expectation of the job, we can use these factors as a consideration when we choose our major.
In addition to that, the work experience will help new graduate to be more competitive when they are looking for a job. These days many employers prefer to hire experienced employees rather than hire new graduate students. They cannot afford to spend a few months for the new hires to adapt to the work environment. As you are aware, everyone has different pace in learning new skills. Some people are able to learn new skills in a very short time; others need longer time to master new skills. And, a small quantity of people just could not adapt to their new job no matter how hard they try and no matter how many hours they spend in the office. At this time of the year, especially, when there are so many experienced people on the job market who are willing to be paid the same amount of money as a new graduate. If you are an employer, which one will you hire?
Last, but not least, in addition to the ‘taste’ of the job and an ‘edge’ on the job market, an internship opportunity is very positive because it makes students taking their education more seriously. A few days ago, as I sat in my classroom, my professor was upset with some of my friends; I can practically see steams coming out of her ears. When she tried to explain one difficult chemistry reaction, some students were playing with their hair and some were actually sleeping in class. She made a comment that people can get fired if they play with their hair when the boss is talking. Also, I have heard my young friends saying that they are happy enough to get a “C” as long as they pass the subject. Imagine yourself lying down on the operation table and the person who will perform the medical procedure is one of ‘the C is enough’ doctor. Will you be confident enough to put your life on their hand?
In considering the importance of the internship and/or job experience as part of the education, I have looked into the mental readiness, competitiveness and education quality. While not all students are keen on the extra burden of the responsibility, these factors lead me to agree that an internship or some type of work experience would be very beneficial to students. After all, who doesn’t want to get a high-paying job right away after we graduate?

Education is the most important asset that a parent can give to their children. Choosing a certain career is not an easy task and even the school or university that we would like to attend is quite an important issue. Most importantly, after having chosen a career, it would be essential to consider also the internship and working experience seriously as part of education. Personally, I agree that a university education should always include internship or some type of work experience due to the following reasons, to broadened the expertise of a profession; additional knowledge and skills related to the theory and positive impression for applying a career in the future.First of all, it needs a basic formal education to study a theory academically for 4-5 years in college and then it takes a great advantage to the student to have an internship because it widened the expertise of a certain career.

Most of the universities don't include an internship and even they don't encourage students working part-timejobs.
