Image a person who just profits from the society in which he or she is living. Is that really desirable? Well, while for some people this might be ok, it is not for me. Personally, I think that every young adult should do some sort of national service for its country.
To begin with, I think that one has to give something back to society. A lot of people profit in different ways of the society they live in. They can go to school, they can use trams or buses or they can do whatever kind of sport in all public places. From my own experience, I was always very glad that I had and still have these possibilities and I am very inclined to give something back therefore. Of course, some people will say that for these purposes we all pay taxes and that this should be enough. However, I think that we shouldn’t think in such a monetary way. I am convinced that it is better to give the society not just money but also a non material benefit.
In addition to the issue of thanking the society, I feel that it is a really good chance to get in contact with a lot of different people. In my country, every man has to do military service. Considering my own experience, I have to state that I met there people I would never have met again. As I am a student, I would not have the possibility to meet so many people from so different job fields. I met for example bus drivers or cleaning staff. It was very interesting to talk with these people and to hear how they are thinking about for example political issues. Still, for some people this argument may not be valuable. However, I really think that doing some kind of national service is a very good opportunity to met people with different backgrounds.
Finally, in combination with giving something back and getting in contact with different people, I think that one can make unique experiences in such a service. Taking our military service as an example, I could drive little vans or doing some military exercises I would never have had to possibility to do otherwise. While this may not be important for all people, I claim that it is for a majority. I suppose that when people have done such experiences, they will always estimate them as positive. One possible reason is probably that in advance it is difficult to see the worth of these experiences. To the contrary, while looking back, most of the people won’t regret the things they have experienced in whatever kind of national service. At least I do not know people regretting having done such service.
In considering the desirability of a community service for every young adult, I have explored issues such as thankfulness; interesting contacts; and personal experiences. While these arguments may not be persuasive for all, they lead me to the conclusion that it should be mandatory for everyone to do some kind of national service.
Imagine you are a young adult. Maybe you have recently graduated from university or high school. You may want to build your own business or go abroad to attend a school to improve your education or to make a vacation. If there is a rule that you have to do national service, you may not do these things when you want and you would be unhappy about this rule, since you feel that it is useless to do a work for society. However, personally, I agree with the assertion that all young adults should do some sort of national service for their country such as military service or community service.
The begin with, I believe that working in national services is like a repository to their country. In our world, people have many rights which are not be taken by another people such as education, health services and protection services. Well, it may not appear for some people that governments are the source that distribute these services to their societies, but from my perspective, these services are provided by governments. Hence, people should pay back to their countries since their governments have given them so much. According to my own experience, I had my operations in the hospitals that are in the command of ministry of health or I had studied in the government schools, I am still studying in the university which is fully equipped by government. Since I have acquired a lot of government services and I feel that I am indebted to my country, I think that I have to make something such as military service to serve my country.
In addition to giving back to country, I feel that national services are useful to develop the country. While the goodwill of the other people can be unimportant for some, I think for a majority of people, they care the rest of people who share the same society and nation. It is obvious that the whole society can benefit a lot if every young adult spend their several monthes for national services. They may make amends in lots of different areas such as education, health, protection. Consider, for example, in my country if a teacher serves in military service, he is worked in military schools where the people who are old but unable to read are tought how to read and write. Every doctor after he is graduated from college, have to serve to poor people in the east of the country for two years in order to work as they want after this service. Moreover, some soldiers build railways or some community buildings such as schools, hospitals, theathres as they serve for the society.
My consideration of the issue of doing national services such as military service or community service should be required for all young adults, I have explored the reasons such as paying back to country and being beneficial for country and society. While these factors may not be persuasive to all people, however, they have lead me personally to accord with the blanket statement that all young adults should participate some kind of national services for their country.-atomen

You're a very strong writer - I just got a little confused with the first body paragraph (especially the supporting example).
:D
In some countries, graduate college male students, have obligation in military service. While others do not force young adult to attend national service. In my perspective, I agree with the statement that, young adount should be required to do some sort of national service for their country, for example military service or community service.Army is an important part for national guard. It prevent invasion from other countries. During 1910 -1940s, many countries joined the World War I and World War II. In that period, most of male were forced to be solder for ptotecting their mother land. Though, the end of World War had gone but each country has to secure their national security, in order to allow citizen have opportunity to do trade, investment, and other activities peacefully. We are not sure whether neigboring will invade us or not. About 1990, Laos was invaded by Thai army without warning; this war broght enomous damage in border area. Luckily, due to government male army service had been used since 1985, we had sufficient soldiers, so we can protect our land and kick out the royal thai army. The policy for young adult service is enacted in 1980 and since that time, number of soldiers increased therefore, Laos, is one place of most peaceful in the world.
In addition to the importance of army as the national guard, I believe that, young adult will have opportunity to learn new skills from the army attending. In Laos, Lao soilders, have opportunity to improve skills, or invole in various attractive activities such as sports. One of my friend, he had low score from English course. After entered to military education programme 1 year, he is able to speak fluently English, because the campas provide Austrlian English teachers to train them. He said that, he is not able to pay for high quality of Enlgish course due to his family is not prosperous as other students. After a hard working year with those English teachers, he can translate documents English – Laos and vice versa as his part time job.
Finally, in combination with value of army service and learning opportunity, I think, family will also gain benefit if they their sons sacrifie their time in army service. In the army, every solder must respect the rule. Therefore, if someone behave impolitely their habit will change rapidly. After attending 6 months at the army campus, they have to strickt to many acts, for instance, no one can wake up late, as well as other activities will be establish in accordance with tiem table. Majority parents opinion toward sending their sons to army is positive, they think that, their son oppositely react with parents better.
In conclusion, the inlvoment of young adult in national service is a must for all nations. I believe that, they will gain new life experience in army campus, learning new technical skill and think in different way. Based on these concept lead me to believe that, young adult should be considered for providing service to their motherland.

Even though, the main responsibility of young adults are study and get a lot of knowledge as much as possible to provide benefits for themselves. However, I personally agree with the idea of all young adults should be required for doing some national service activities for their country.
To begin with, it can help young adults to be patriot. Doing some sort of national service will help young adults love in their country and ready to sacrifice themselves to make some benefits for their country. With this feeling of the citizen, I think that the country will be developed very quickly because every people in the country will make benefits for country not for themselves. For example, every young man adults in my country have to be a soldier for three years. During to be soldier, these young adults will be taught by senior soldiers about duty of soldier and citizen for the country and the king. That can help young adults learn about their duties and ready to do anything for providing some sort of benefit for the country and keep the country alive forever. In addition, I think this kind of service activities can help young adult have more responsibility for their society. Most of national service and community service can help young adults learn about their responsibility to the society and learn the way that they can help their society to be better. It is true that main responsibility of young adults is study for themselves. However, they have to know that there is other side of responsibility that young adults have to take a charge when they are grown up. Consider, for example, every students in last of secondary school have to take community service course for graduating. This course will assign suitable community service for each student. Some people have to be a volunteer to teach blind people or some people are sent to keep the garbage on the beach. These community activities can help young adults know about they are a part of society and have to take some responsible to help their society in the future when they are grown up.
Finally, I feel that this kind of activity can make young adults have more discipline. Most of young adults do anything with emotion and not respect the social rules that can lead them to be lacking of discipline both for their country and their society. Lacking of discipline in young adult such as do not respect in traffic laws, or letter garbage anywhere they want, will make some troubles to other people in society. If country had this kind of people a lot, the country would be developed very slowly. So, national service can take a duty to practice young adult in country have more discipline both for themselves and for society. According to my own experience, in my country, every young adult who age twenty years old have to be train and practice like a soldier in the military camp for six months. This activity helps me and my friend learned about discipline for myself and for society. For example, I have to early wake up every morning for exercise and if somebody breaks some rules of the camp, everybody in the camp will be punished together. So, everybody that passes this camp will respect every social rule and have more discipline.
In considering young adults should do some national or community activities, I have explored issues such as making young adults to be patriot; helping young adult learn about their responsibility for their society; and helping young adults have more discipline. These factors lead me to believe that young adults should do some national services for their country.

From the ancient years most of the countries had a sort of obligatory national service. Most of the times in the form of military service. With passing time, many countries have turned their army to missionary, having professional soldiers doing the job; yet other countries have either continued this tradition or turned military service into community service. Personally, I agree with the idea of one offering some kind of work towards his/her country.
To begin with, they get closer to their country and they feel more part of the nation. Globalization, today, has lead many people to loosing their national identity. Most of the children don't feel anything for their country anymore. They believe a country is a place you just happened to grow up and live. Some people may say this is a good thing and it helps avoiding national conflicts. However, from my own perspective, I believe that a person that doesn't love his country cannot really be a part of the community, because loving your country is what drives into contributing to the commons and get more involved.
In addition to the issue of realising your nationality, they get to appreciate more the common wealth and not destroy public properties. Consider, for example, hooligans that leave the football courts and destroy everything in their way. They think public property is there by its own, that no one worked to pay for it. Now imagine some of those youngsters that had to do some community service, thus, clean the roads, empty the baskets etc Do you think they would, so easily, destroy public property again? I don't think so. People working on the streets, in civil services, cleaning services, public departments, in the end tend to realise and appreciate the work done there! They find themselves more aware of the amount of work needed for something to be completed!
Finally, in combination with public property respect and loving your country, many countries, especially poor ones, depend on this kind of service to protect their borders. Small countries don't have the means or the money to employee a missionary army. Because of this incapability, they rely on the military service to protect themselves from any outside enemies. My country, for example, has a two year obligatory military service. When I was serving that time, I had mixed feelings. On the one hand I felt good because I was helping protect my country, on the other hand I felt like I was missing out on two years of my life. However, in the end I realised that, till now, it is the most important task I accomplished in my life.
To sum up, these considerations lead me to believe that required national service is a good choice, both for the country and the young adults!

Some people argue that
if we make our children serve our country, it will make them resentful. This is
definitely not true. You should ask any young people in your community who
actually participate in community service; they will tell you that this is not
the case. In lieu of this, I hereby agree with the asserted statement that all young
adult should be required to do some sort of national service for their country,
in the form of military service or community service.
First of all, I believe that mandatory national service is necessary. A country is like a household. Its strength and weakness depends on the people who live in that particular house. For most family, there is one father, one mother and a few children. Both father and/or mother work very hard to earn income, take care of the house and take care of the children. The children go to school and study for their own future. On some days, the children help doing chores for their family. Now, have you seen that parents these days are becoming more and more stressed out because they feel pressured to meet certain goal and they have to cater to their children’s needs? Yes, I certainly have. As a parent myself, I have noticed that when I do not ask my children to help me doing some chores, they would rather play or watch TV. When I ask their help, they will do it. What is the result? All necessary chores are done. If I have to do all those tasks myself, I will be overwhelmed and maybe at one point I will explode. It is the same way with a country. When the country needs help, it is necessary to call on their citizen to contribute something according to their capacity.
In addition to necessity of the service, I feel that contributing to our own country will develop a sense of accomplishment, self respect and responsibility. When all citizens are working together and helping each other, the country will be a better country. As my parents used to say, ‘nothing in this world is free; you have to earn your living.” I will use a comparison about country and household again to make my point. My oldest child learned to wash her dirty plates when she was seven years old. My second one, who is two years younger, learned to wash his dirty plates at the same time as my oldest. Yes, the plates are not clean. Yes, I have to rewash them. However, my children feel that they accomplish something; they feel that they are ‘adult’. With little encouragement, they continue to wash their dishes because they relate ‘washing dishes’ as something that is enjoyable. This small seed of responsibility has been rooted in my children’s life, that I often hear their teachers commented about my children’s maturity and responsibility in school compared to their peers.
Finally, alongside the issue of the necessities and promoting self respect, I think national service can teach young adult many skills that can be useful later in work environment. When we are working in community service or military service, we usually work in a group. We communicate with people. We learn to work in a team environment. We learn to manage conflict. Also, we can actually observe how other people do their job, and who knows that this kind of opportunity can inspire young adults to choose a career path that they like and enjoy. One simple example, when I was in high school, I used to help around in the nursing home nearby my house. Sometimes I saw the doctor came and checked up on the residents. I saw how he was quick, smart, and courteous to the old people who live in the nursing home. It made interested to know more about medical field. And now, twenty years later, here I am going back to school to pursue a nursing degree.
In conclusion, my consideration of the issue of the importance of national service has explored factors such as the necessities of giving back, self respect and the education aspect. Although some people might disagree with me, but all in all, I have never resented all the work I have contribute to my country. In fact, community service has inspires me to be a better and useful person, and I will teach my children to the same These considerations lead me to agree that all young adult should do some sort of national service for their country.
My father was born in the year of civil war. At that time
military was one major requirement for national guard. Attending the military, he
had contributed a lot for motherland. Right now, we have peace in our country,
offering military service is wasting of time for adult who are not interested
in such kind of job. I personally disagree with the idea of young adult require
to do some sort of national service for their country, such as military or
community service.
First of all, military service after high school is totally
wasting time. Why should I discontinue my studying, for instance, chemistry. I
am really passionate to make more research in number of filed. If I had to stop
learning it, I lose opportunity to develop my skill. At the military campus,
there are of course good sport venue but I am not active in sport except
reading. Hard military training will be carrying on each day. Of course, I can
make self study for myself in the evening, but all day training in campus, I
would be so exhausted. The longer I stay in campus, the more I will be so eager
to get out and learn my interested field.
In addition to wasting time, I think that military do not
focus on other field of capacity building and offering bad condition of living.
I am from a rich family with good educational background and it would be hard
for me to live in poor condition. One of my friends died in campus last year
because of mosquito, malaria. He was sent to countryside campus where had not
cleaned water, far from the city, where many natural disease easily infected to
human. Their family felt so sorrow for their only son death, though Ministry of
defence paid high insurance money back to his family. Is those amount of money
is enough for forgetting their only 20 years old son? Think about that. Before
this, his parents wish his son to join military education course based on a
good advertisement programme but in reality they fail to have high qualified
skill instructor and equipments.
Finally, forget about training your bad son for being a
better one. Some good people, who had never drunk or smoked prior to joining military
actions. Then about few more months, these boys start to smoke, and heavily
drink with their friend a lot. My uncle’s son, a shy boy but intelligent,
attended 1 year military service programme. He now smokes; drinks a lot of alcohol.
He said that, even the military applied good rules for them to practice but
they fail to control the gang social activities within military. Sleeping with
the group of 10 men, he has to follow the group leader rule, not military. There
is nothing too serious problem as jail but he has to drink, play card, and
smoke in order to be a group member.
In considering young adults service in military, I have
explored the issues of wasting time, lack of good living condition and bad behaviour
after military training. These factors lead me to believe that all young adults
should not attend military service. This rule should be an optional for all
people, let them make their own choice. Unless the military in my country improve
the facility system, studying programme and securing behaviour of participants,
till that time, I would reconsider the

Imagine your self as young adult who serve in military or perform community service? what is your feeling? I think you feel that you belong to your country, and this is the least thing you can sacrifice. Personally, I agree that young adults should be required to do some sort of national service for their country.
To begin with, military or community service is considered as the litlle duty that young a dults should contribute ith their countries by doing it. Our country give us a lot for free; we live in our country land, its its army protect us, and we learn in its schools.I think any one who don't like to perform a national service is not a rightous person. Consider for example a country without mandatory national service. What will happen if most of people don't like to join meilitary or perform community service. Who will protect the country? who will perform the community service jobs? this country will face a big challeng that will not be solved unless youth be required to do a national service.
In addition, national service improve the feeling of belongenissto country. If you are in military, you feels that you are part of your great country. for example, when I was in military, every time we stand in front of our country flag, I felt like I fly with the Eagle which is painted on it over all our country land.I felt like all people who were with me is my brothers; we were one family. In fact this feeling continue with me, and I think it is the cause hat all people who meet me like me.
Finally, national service add to the social experience of youth by improving thir communication skills. In national service youth usually meet each other and learn from each other. Dealing with different kinds of people will improve their social experience.
To sum up, these factors lead me to believe that youth should be required to complete military or community service for their country. I hope all young adults perform national service.
Some people argue that if we make our children serve our country, it will make them resentful. This is definitely not true. Then about few more months, these boys start to smoke, and heavily drink with their friend a lot. My uncle’s son, a shy boy but intelligent, attended 1 year military service programme. He now smokes; drinks a lot of alcohol. He said that, even the military applied good rules for them to practice but they fail to control the gang social activities within military. Sleeping with the group of 10 men, he has to follow the group leader rule, not military. There is nothing too serious problem as jail but he has to drink, play card, and smoke in order to be a group member.
In considering young adults service in military, I have explored the issues of wasting time, lack of good living condition and bad behaviour after military training. These factors lead me to believe that all young adults should not attend military service. This rule should be an optional for all people, let them make their own choice. Unless the military in my country improve the facility system, studying programme and securing behaviour of participants, till that time, I would reconsider the

I hope all young adults perform national service.-alpharmacist

Some of your ideas need to be supported better, and feature some concession about the opposite side of the argument. Also pay more attention to basic punctuation and grammar!

Personally, I think that it is a good idea for all young adults should be required to do some sort of national service for their country such as military service or community service. I based this opinion on the following notions: getting in physical shape, gaining survival techniques and going through an interesting experience.
To start with, anyone who serves in the military, has to get in a good shape physically. Nowadays, one of the most serious health problems the modern society faces, is lack of exercise and obesity especially among young adults. Therefore, doing military service would play a role in solving this problem. The first place soldiers go to after joining the military is a boot camp, where they undergo a severe training to get them in a proper shape and to strengthen their bodies.
In addition to fitness, military service provides its members with survival procedures. To be able to survive any circumstances, all military members are trained to adapt to any environment. For example, during attending the boot camp, all people there get trained to recognize the eatable plants and insects, which they would need to feed on, to stay alive until they receive help.
Finally, alongside getting in shape and survival techniques, military service represents an adventure to young adults. Beyond doubt, young adults try to find some activities that consume a lot of energy, and give them a sense of adventure. The military service gives them the opportunity to have that experience and the chance to practice what they have seen in movies.
To sum up, in considering young adults and doing some kind of service to their community, I have explored how the military service participates in tackling the problem of over weight; arms the young adults with the essential knowledge of survival; and provides these category of people with adventurous experience. These factors may not be persuasive to all people but they lead me to believe that military service is a great idea for young adults.
Personally, I agree with the idea that all young adults should be required to do nataional service.
To begin with, i believe that obligatory national service for all young adults will yield coherence and equality in the society. When people have knowledge about, or are practising the same thing it is easier relating to one another and feel equal. Consider for example, the relationship between patient and doctor. This relationship is often characterised by the doctor having great power compared to the patient. If they have been doing national service within the same field it is likely that the patient and the doctor will feel more equal as well as relating to each other around something else than being doctor and patient.
In addition to the issue of coherence and equality, I think that community service or national service will give skills to young people. Imagine a girl doing national service in the military. Here she will have to learn to drive a car and this will be of great benefit for her later in life.
Finally, in combination with coherence of the society and skills of the young people, I am convinced that above mentioned service will benefit vulnerable groups of the society. National service could include social work as caring for the homeless people, elderly people, etc. Considering for example Denmark. Here we have big problems getting workforce for the nursing home for elderly people. If national service in nursing homes was obligatory for all young people, this problem would be solved.
In considering compulsory national service for young people, I have explored issues such as coherence of the society; improved skills among young people; and the benefit of vulnerable groups in the society. These factors lead me to believe that it is preferable that young adults are obliged to do service for their country.
While others conform to the idea that youth should be exposed to render some kind of national service to their country because that means patriotism and loyalty to one's nation, I think for a majority of young people decry this concern simply because they have chosen their personal freedom on the priorities that they want to explore in life. In my own perspective, I don't agree that all young adults should be required to so some sort of national service for their country.
First of all, I believe that service to one's country is by personal choice and that means it's voluntary. Moreover, not everyone is gifted in publice service and inclined to philantrophy. Consider, for example a young person who desire to focus academically when he was a student and somehow realize that he is more interested to concentrate on his career but doesn't want to get involve with national service. For him, it may be a waste of time but will consider other priorities that can benefit himself and for his family. Thus, every young people has the right to do whatever he wants according to his personal preference that could benefit himself, for his family and even to the society.
In addition, I think that youth can somehow serve his country but not solely to national service instead by doing a job on his chosen profession and by this act one has already given his skills and talent to the people in his country. For instance, this young person graduated from medicine and this serves as a way that he can better serve his people by treating sick patients in his community. For me, this is more productive because you tend to help others at the same time you enjoy what you are doing. Furthermore, you are apt to a task that has given you a favorable result, joy and success in the future.
Finally, It's true that others seem to enjoy public service, but this isn't much of a priority because youth are versatile and have a lot of diversion. I feel that for majority of young people love to explore and take risk to make decisions in their life. While some parents play a vital role in their children's decision making especially on their career, others tend to give the decisions to their children according to their line of interest to achieve a specific goal that they envisioned when they were a young kid. Of course, young ones are far better productive in the society if they have a self-fulfillment and joy to their specific task. Thus, they can be also flexible in their role as a dedicated citizen in their own country.
In considering the issue of indulging the youth to national service for their country, I have explored different issues such as young people must be given personal preference in their career; one can better perform and concentrate on his chosen profession and lastly, they are inclined to versatility and diversion of roles in the society. These factors may not be persuasive to other people but however, these lead me to believe that not all young adults should be required to do some sort of national service to their country but instead personal freedom must be of great importance to the youth.
For some
people national services can sound plausible, but for other people not. Personally,
I disagree with this assertion. This opinion is based on notions such as waste
of the time, possibility to be harmful, and undemocratic.
To begin with,
I think that these services are waste of the time. However for some people it
may seem to be patriotic, for me it sounds as lost of the time. Because, these
kind of services are usually not paid. Instead of serving, you’d better to
study at a college or to find a job, and earn some money. For example, in my
country young males have to serve for two years at the army if they are healthy
enough. During this time usually people learn nothing. These ages seem to be
most important in our lives, and they are simply wasted. I gave a bribe not to
serve in the army, and most of people do it.
In addition to
lost of the time, I believe it can be dangerous for the servants lives. There
are many evidences when people die in the army or badly injured. Because violence
against younger conscripts is an inherent part of our army. Soldiers are
usually beaten, and some of them become so stressed that they commit suiside. Yes,
in the army we learn a discipline, but does it worth it? For example, I can
share my family experience. It is very tragic, as two of my uncles died in the
army. People say that it was an accident, however I don’t believe them. Not
only our famile faced such kind of experience but also many mothers struggle,
because they had lost their sons.
Finally alongside
insufficienly spent time and danger, I feel that the public services are not
democratic for people. Usually in our country these services are obligatory. It
means that we have to serve, no other way. I live in , it is a democratic
country, which means people are not obliged to do things which are against their
mind. So we have no other choice, and people approach for an another trick
called a bribe. I think our government executives should create new amendment
to these acts, which can made these type of services optional. Eventually,
these services will become democratic fo people.
My cosideration
of the issue of the national services has explored factors such as waste of the
time; possibility to be harmful; and undemocratic. These considerations lead me
to disagree that yound adults should be required to do described services.
Imagine you have to attend a national service at young age. Until then you
have studied about your country at a school. Without real experiences as a
supporting member of national activity, how can you really understand about
your own country and love it? I personally agree with the assertion that all
young adults should be required to do some sort of national service for their
county.
To beginning with, I believe that young people will learn patience through
national services. Usually people tend to choose an easy way than good and hard
way when they face to a difficulty. Consider, for example, young people like
many attractive things around them such as a party, hanging out with friends
and watching TV and put aside important things. If they have to attend a
national service as their duty, they also have to put up with such attractive
activities. National services are not enjoyable and are mostly hard works,
because it is to support people in a country. Once young people learn to be
patient, it becomes easier to find what is necessary for them and they can
prevent from wrong choices in their lives.
In addition to the issue of acquiring patience, I think that
young adults can learn how to behave well in a society through a national
service. Military service or activities to help people and environment in a
country are good opportunities to bring people awareness about their society
for young adults. Of course, in some cases, young people can acquire good
behavior without national services, but mostly it is hard for them to realize the importance to care other people. For instance, in military
service, they spend their time in a group with hard trainings and strict rules.
They must learn to follow a rule and help each other during the service. After
that they will understand what role they should play to make a group better in a work, community and family.
Finally, in combination with patient ability and sociality, I feel that attending national services will inspire young adults to
study about their own country. If they see people who are poor or suffered from
disease or disability with their own eyes, they would eager to change their
political system to improve their situations. They would realize there are many things in
real world that their schools didn’t teach them including their country’s
history, politics and relationship with other countries. For example, military
has to protect their citizens in a dangerous situation such as an attack from another country or natural disaster. Sometimes people of Military
would be dispatched to a war or supporting activity in another country. In such
a situation they will want to know about their country’s position in the world
In considering national service for young adults, I have explored issues
such as getting patience; learning social behavior; and interest about their country. These
functions lead me to agree with the idea that people should attend a national
service of their country while they are young.
