Business should hire employees for their entire lives do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
I disagree with the proposition that employee need to
be hired for the entire lives because it affects the expansion of business, as
business remain stable or may decrease. For running business smoothly one need
to be prepared for facing the upcoming challenges which can be done by hiring
newer employees which brings lot of creativeness and are ready to ignore
established boundaries and challenge long standing assumptions. So I firmly
believe that hiring employees should be done by diligence of the employee to
work.
First, The important reason is if the worker are
hired for lifetime its obvious that at some time they lack the skills needed to
compete in the current rapid pace of business, they may not be updated with the
recent technologies and innovations in their field, which can be brought by the
newer employees which will ultimately lead in increasing the profit of
business.
Second, if the workers are hired for lifetime than
they may not be under pressure to complete the work assigned to them in the
allotted time because they will be assured that their jobs are safe, also some
workers will have a free ride as compared to the hard working workers in the
business if the company goes through success so stubborn workers also get equal
rewards.
Also, there are chances that workers working in the business
may form union for their absurd rights which may create strike until the needs
of workers are fulfilled.
While the strike continues the business will suffer
loss as productivity is halted.
Lastly, If a new employee has joined the business
whose skills are better than the current workers working in business may get a
small revenue, the newer employee also may undergo some rash behavior by his
senior workers working in the business.
Therefore, only experience of the senior workers may
not bring a boom in the business but it should be backed up by the newer employee
who brings a lot of sincerity, artisan skills to keep the business growing.

Long long time ago, when the society was not as complex as the society nowadays, it would be possible to keep the same workers until they would die. However, as this modern society has been changes economically, I am skeptical about the statement that business should keep the employees working for their lifetime.
To begin with, everyone changes one's mind so many times. Although companies try to keep their workers as long as possible, some workers would not want it because people always hope to be better off. If people were suggested for promotions and better salaries by moving into another company, they would not be able to reject the temptation.
In addition of the previous point, not all of businesses are stable for several decades. As the economy of modern societies become complexed, there are numerous small companies which go bankrupt so quickly. Therefore, in spite of hiring their employees for the long period, it would not be always possible for small companies which are not stable in their budget.
Finally, the primary purpose of companies is to make a profit. It would be nice if the workers in a company became like one big family. However, as this society is always competitve, there is such a company as salvation army. Sadly and cruely, it is obvious in this modern society. Therefore, no matter how intimate the employees are to companies, it is impossible to guarantee their employment for their entire lives.
In summary, it is ideal that companies provide their workers with jobs for their whole lives. However, everyone change their minds according to their own interest. Moreover, it is not always possible to keep business stable for such a long time. As well as this, because every company aims for better profit, I do not agree that companies are mendatory to keep their employees for thier whole lives.
